The Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance Expands Capacity

 

Cincinnati, OH - The Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance, a regional nonprofit investing in Energy Efficiency, is excited to announce the addition of five new employees to support continued growth within the organization.  The new hires include Jenell N. Hubbard, Dave Jennings, Beth Siler, Andrew Wiggers, and Jeremy Faust. 

 

Since the launch of the Energy Alliance, the program has created over 88,000 private sector job hours in the region including staff and contractor support.  Andy Holzhauser, Executive Director and Founder of the Energy Alliance shared proudly, “the Energy Alliance’s growth is a direct indication of the positive economic impact we have had on the region and we are very excited about the adding these five talented individuals to our team.” 

 

Jenell N. Hubbard joins the Energy Alliance as the Commercial Energy Finance Manager responsible for managing the commercial loan portfolio serving nonprofits and commercial customers.  Jenell has over ten years of experience in the financial services industry and will be directly supporting the Energy Alliance’s Finance Department.  Her expertise includes commercial loan portfolio management at one of the region’s largest banks and serving as an independent consultant working with small businesses to obtain venture capital in conjunction with traditional financing solutions.

 

Dave Jennings will serve as the organizations Controller and will be directly working with Energy Alliance’s Finance Department.  Dave brings a wealth of experience in the Utility and Energy field previously working with fuel escalation and utility construction audits at Price Waterhouse, and continued with several years of internal audit experience at the Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company.  Dave is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is active in the Ohio Society of CPA’s, where he serves on the Council of Leaders, the Not-for-Profit conference committee, and the Information Technology committee.

 

Beth Siler joins the Energy Alliance as the Accounting Manager to the Finance Department.  She will be responsible for the internal operational controls, human resources, and internal accounting and reporting.  Beth is a seasoned accounting professional with 20 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.  Her background includes working in public accounting and the private sector in healthcare, consumer goods, financial services, and nonprofit arenas. 

 

Andrew Wiggers will serve as the Energy Alliance’s new Marketing Manager.  Andrew brings over seven years of Media and Marketing experience and will be working with the Marketing Department to help increase awareness of the Energy Alliance’s programs and services.  Prior to joining the Energy Alliance, Andrew was an Associate Media Director at Horizon Media Inc. in New York City where he specialized in Out of Home Media.

 

Jeremy Faust joins the Energy Alliance as the new Community Relations Manager. Jeremy will be tasked with supporting the Energy Alliance in developing corporate partnerships and educating government leaders on Energy Alliance activities and impacts to date. Prior to joining the Energy Alliance team, Jeremy was Committee Director with the Council of the District of Columbia’s Committee on the Environment, Public Works, and Transportation. Jeremy served over five years with the DC Council developing policy on sustainable energy programs, transportation financing, and public sector contract reform.

 

The Energy Alliance is pleased with the newest staff additions, which has grown to eighteen employees and seven co-ops. 

 

The Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky communities reduce their energy costs.   The Energy Alliance provides education, expertise, and innovative financing to help the region to become more energy efficient, saving money for residents while also creating local jobs.
