Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance Improves 1,000 Homes, Driving Energy Efficiency and Economic Development
Multi-government collaboration lays the groundwork for this unique initiative that has attracted more than $20 million in public and private capital
What: The Department of Energy (DOE) Better Building program participant, the Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance was successful in creating jobs, training programs and new financing mechanisms aimed at increasing energy efficiency in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. The Energy Alliance will award officials from seven local governments for their partnership in the program and also recognize the 1,000th local homeowner who has benefitted from home energy improvements.
DOE will attend this event and speak to the Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance’s achievements of this major economic development milestone.
