Andy Holzhauser, Executive Director

Andy Holzhauser is co-founder and Executive Director of the Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance. Andy is a Certified Public Accountant and spent the first 8 years of his career in accounting and finance roles, initially with Deloitte in London, England, and Cincinnati in external audit, and most recently serving as the Controller at Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation (3CDC) through 2008. Andy’s professional involvement includes the Green Umbrella Board of Directors, Vibrant Places Advisory Committee of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, C-Change, Steering Committee for Plan Cincinnati, Quality Place Committee for Agenda 360, and the Advisory Committee for the Metropolitan Sewer District’s Communities of the Future Initiative.
Andy graduated from Miami University with a B.S. in Business and Masters of Accountancy and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Miami University Alumni Association, as well as serving his fraternity, Kappa Alpha Order, as Alumnus Advisor.
Outside of work, Andy has been active in community development for many years, serving for 6 years on the Columbia-Tusculum Community Development Corporation, most recently as President. Andy also supports the Southwest Ohio Chapter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America through Board membership, and currently resides in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood within the City of Cincinnati, where he serves on the Board of the Over-the-Rhine Foundation.
Alfred Gaspari, Finance Director
Lilah Glick, Marketing and Community Outreach Director
Lilah has over ten years experience in community organizing and program management. Her background includes serving as a small business development Peace Corps volunteer in Nicaragua, organizing city and school district projects in Falls City, Oregon, and development work for a nonprofit Internet Service Provider serving western North Carolina. In the Energy field, Lilah worked on Massachusetts policy initiatives at Clean Water Action and most recently served as the Director of Community Outreach at the Cambridge Energy Alliance.Chris Jones, Operations Director
Chris graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1993 with an Environmental Sciences degree. His was the first class to graduate with the degree, which was on a trial basis at the time. He currently resides in Symmes Township with his wife and three children.
Adam Harris, Data Analyst
Adam Harris is responsible for the Energy Alliance's data management and reporting. Prior to his time at the Energy Alliance, Adam led several environmental initiatives at Miami University, including the co-authorship of the President's Environmental Sustainability Task Force, and the creation of the Miami University Revolving Green Loan Fund, one of the nation's first of its kind. Adam studied Economics and Environmental Studies at Miami and served as the university's Student Body Vice President from 2009-2010.
Lucrecer Braxton, Interactive Marketing Specialist
Lucrecer comes to the Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance with over sixteen years of experience in both traditional and multimedia design and marketing for private and non-profit organizations. Her background in public speaking, graphic design and photography has led to speaking engagements at major social media, design, and photography conferences. She is very involved in community activities and currently participates as a community blogger for the 2012 World Choir Games, mentors design students as part of AIGA, Cincinnati Chapter, and donates photography sessions for graduating high school seniors. Previously, she managed the digital campaign for a Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Man of the Year candidate, earned the Outstanding Leader award for Girl Scouts of America and participated as a member of the Urban League Gala committee.
Lucrecer currently lives in Forest Park with her family and received her B.A. in Advertising Graphics from Central State University.
Ryan Scalf, Energy Advisor
Ryan is currently a student at Cincinnati State University, double majoring in Electro-Mechanical Engineering with a renewable energy-efficiency focus, and Electro-Mechanical Engineering with a Lasers and Optics focus. Ryan has 2 years of inside sales experience working for an electrical controls distributor, and 2 years of outside sales experience representing an a large manufacturer of solenoid valves to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana area. Ryan lives in Anderson with his wife Jaclyn and his dog Tonic.
Steve Pohlman, Nonprofit Energy Services Manager
Prior to coming to the Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance, Steve had a long career at Miami University where he was responsible for the planning, administration, and management of multiple construction and maintenance projects. He has been project manager for a wide variety of energy efficiency improvement projects involving all aspects of building systems.Michael Robinson, Residential Energy Services Manager
Michael Robinson has worked in the field of energy conservation and energy efficiency for over 16 years. He started his work in this field while residing in the Washington D.C. There he served as first an Auditor and Inspector then later a Program Manager for the city’s many energy efficiency and conservation initiatives. Michael also worked for the D.C. Public Schools educating high school students on the skills and methods needed to become qualified energy auditors.Charlotte Seidner, Finance & Accounting Specialist
Charlotte is a recent graduate from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. She is a native of Cincinnati, and has come back to the city to start her career. Charlotte has had several previous finance related internships, both with First Miami Student Credit Union in Oxford, Ohio, as well as with Tri-State Wholesale Building Supplies in Cincinnati. In her free time she likes to spend time with friends and family, and explore the city.Jenell N. Hubbard, Commercial Energy Finance Manager
Jenell N. Hubbard has over ten years of experience in the financial services industry. Her expertise includes commercial loan portfolio management at one of the region’s largest banks. In addition, Jenell served as an independent consultant working with small businesses to obtain venture capital in conjunction with traditional financing solutions.
Her focus on civic responsibility is comprised of both professional and volunteer involvement in Greater Cincinnati community development initiatives and organizational affiliations including Cincinnatians For Progress, the YWCA of Greater Cincinnati, Cincinnati Youth Collaborative and the Human Rights Campaign.
Jenell received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Thomas More College and is a proud resident of Prospect Hill in Mt. Auburn.
Nathan Shryock, Web Support Specialist
Nathan is originally from Northeastern Ohio and has been living in Cincinnati for the last 6 years. Currently a student at Cincinnati State Technical & Community College, Nate moved into the Web Support Specialist position after serving 1 year as a Marketing Co-op with the Energy Alliance. Nate plans to graduate in the spring with an Associate’s degree in Multimedia Web Design.Outside of school Nate enjoys working on various websites, selling vintage video games on eBay, biking and hiking Cincinnati’s Parks with his wife, and getting involved in local community projects.

Lisa has over 30 years of diversified, corporate experience in banking, manufacturing, healthcare, service and consulting.Rob McCracken, Contractor Development Manager
Robert McCracken is responsible for recruiting new contractors into Energy Alliance programs. He has a diverse background which includes serving as a director of projects for the Center for Innovation in Assessment at Indiana University, advocating for the environment as a policy analyst at American Farmland Trust in Washington, DC, and serving as the head coach of women’s rowing at The George Washington University.
Rob graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Environmental Science and Policy. He also holds a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs with a focus in environmental policy. A resident of Hyde Park, he enjoys spending time outside with his family.
Contract & co-op
Doug Bell, Project Management Consultant
Doug is a Contractor Project Manager currently performing an analysis/redesign of the internal workflows and processes at GCEA. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1983 with a double-major in Business Management and Information Systems Analysis. For the next 26 years he worked in IT with such companies as Cap Gemini, Anthem, and First Virginia Bank. He began his career as a software developer and finished as a Senior Project Manager. At that point, his career took a dramatic turn and he then worked at People Working Cooperatively for 2.5 years as a weatherization installer, where he insulated attics, sealed ductwork, etc. He lives in Kenwood with his wife and son.
Ronald Gillespie, Nonprofit Operations Co-op
Ronald Gillespie was raised in Dayton, Ohio and now studies Industrial Management at the University of Cincinnati. He also works as a Sustainability Advocate with the university and is a student organizer for the Beyond Coal campaign on campus. Ronald is involved with the UC Mountaineering club and enjoys backpacking, rock climbing, single track mountain biking, and most other outdoor activities. With his free time Ronald is working on several projects to up-cycle used materials to create functional consumer goods from waste. Ronald is an avid traveler and prefers exploring cities by bike.Chad Schlett, Financing Co-op
Chad Schlett is from Milan, Ohio and is now studying Finance and Economics at Xavier University. Chad is involved in the Finance, Economics and Pre-Law clubs at Xavier and will be traveling to Greece in the summer of 2012 as a part of Xavier’s Study Abroad Program. He also plays intramural flag football and basketball on campus. During free time Chad enjoys watching the Xavier men’s basketball team and experiencing Cincinnati as he is from a much smaller town.Josh Moore, Marketing Co-op
Joshua Moore is a student in the Graphic Design Program at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. Joshua was raised in a small town in Maine and came to Cincinnati to study jazz bass at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. He spends his spare time performing in jazz, bluegrass and salsa bands and hanging out with family.
Brooke Hathaway, Data Specialist
Brooke joined the GCEA temporarily to work on several special projects. She works across several departments, but her major endeavors include modernizing our database systems and working on nonprofit projects. She comes to us from New York where she worked as a freelance communications professional. Prior to that she was a third grade teacher! She’s a graduate of Miami University and is realizing how awesome Cincinnati and OTR are – so she continues looking for new opportunities in the city.
