Nonprofit Energy Incentives

Our goal is to facilitate energy efficiency improvements which will have the most broad, long-lasting impact in the Greater Cincinnati region. The Energy Alliance provides financial incentives for energy improvements, which when leveraged against your financial and in-kind resources can pay for themselves in energy savings. Participating nonprofit organizations should be able to invest their own capital funds  and/or be willing to hold a short-term loan.

In order to serve nonprofits small and large, we put together incentive packages based on your organization's resources and energy saving opportunities. The Energy Alliance will invest in incentives to Nonprofit for energy improvement projects based on:
  • The energy assessment and proposed energy conservation measures
  • Participation in Energy Alliance workshops
  • The applicant’s matching resources
  • Availability of Funding
